You keep copyright
You keep copyright in photos you upload. Camerawalk does not own your photos.
Camerawalk display permission
To run walks, galleries, voting, results, and archives, Camerawalk needs permission to store, resize, display, publish, and archive photos you upload. This permission is separate from the public reuse licence you choose.
By uploading, you allow Camerawalk to store, resize, display, publish, and archive uploaded photos for walk galleries, voting, results, archives, and reasonable platform promotion, unless you remove the photo under the removal policy.
Your default licence for future uploads
Your profile has a default photo licence. New uploads use that default. Changing it affects future uploads only. Existing photos keep the licence they had when submitted.

- Other people may not reuse this photo without your permission. Camerawalk can still display it under the upload/display permission.

- Others may reuse the photo if they credit you, subject to the licence terms. Official licence summary.

Public place and public suitability
Photos taken in public places are usually allowed, but not every public photo is suitable for a community gallery. Avoid images that harass, expose, embarrass, or unfairly single out someone.
Removing photos
You can remove photos later, including winning photos. Removed photos are withdrawn from public display. Published results may retain a placeholder or historical record such as "Photo removed by photographer". Results are not recalculated merely because a photo was later removed.
Image files may be deleted while minimal audit or tombstone records remain where needed.
Moderation
Hosts and platform admins may reject or remove photos for public suitability, safety, dignity, walk relevance, privacy, or platform policy reasons.
